Township Land Parcel

In 1964, Al Wilson and Ethel Wilson donated a piece of property to the Pequaywan Lakes Association to make the land available to the citizens of Pequaywan Township. The Pequaywan Lakes Association, which predated the organized township, later transferred the land to the township. This parcel lies near the corner of Rossini Road and Pequaywan Lake Road. Its address is 8914 Pequaywan Lake Road. Then, in 2020, the Township bought the parcel north of the original property from St. Louis County for access from the Rossini road.

Currently, the Township’s combined land parcels are used for a variety of purposes:

    • The Pequaywan Trail system is maintained by the township for all to enjoy whether walking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing. No motorized vehicles are allowed in the trail system.
    • Picnic shelter – built by Alex Olson in 2019 for his Eagle Scout service project with Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America).
    • Memorial trees planted by loved ones who want a living memorial as outlined in Township Resolution (2025-003).
    • Access from the Rossini road to our tree/ brush burn pile that is open to the public several times a year.
