Meeting of the Board of Canvass was called to order by Chair Douglas Nelson at 10:20 p.m.
Attendance:
Town officers: Chair Douglas Nelson, Vice-Chair Jim Wilson, Supervisor Douglas Dressen, Clerk Lita Wallace, Treasurer Carol Nelson, Deputy Clerk Shane Stolp, Deputy Treasurer Raymond Barnes
Guests: Mark Freeman, Ted Wallace, Donald Swanstrom
Deputy Clerk issued Oath of Office to the Board of Canvass members and Board of Canvass Members took the Oath of Office.
Deputy Clerk presented the Canvass Reports and abstracts to the Board with 23 voters that voted. Results of the township election: Donald Swanstrom 20 votes; write-in John Wilson, 2 votes; write-in Douglas Dressen, 1 vote. Swanstrom was elected as the new supervisor to replace Douglas Dressen.
Board reviewed and concurred or dealt with any errors or write-in issues through the required statutes. There was none. Board moved to declare the results of the vote and signed off on the Summary and any other abstracts;
The clerk was then authorized to issue a notification to candidates and request their signed campaign financial forms within the time period;
The board adjourns as the Board of Canvass at 10:41 p.m. Motioned by Dressen, seconded by Wilson, motion carried. Dressen yay, Wilson yay, Nelson yay.
