FILING DATES FOR PEQUAYWAN TOWNSHIP
MARCH 8, 2016 TOWNSHIP ELECTION
FOR TOWN SUPERVISOR POSITIONS AND TOWN CLERK

FILING DATE: DECEMBER 29, 2015 – JANUARY 12, 2016, 5:00 PM

In the March 2016 election, the Town of Pequaywan will be voting on two Town Supervisor positions and the Town Clerk position. The vacant positions are as follows:

  1. Town Supervisor for a three-year term, currently held by Scott Mead.
  2. Town Supervisor for a one-year term to complete the unexpired term vacated by Rick Fry’s resignation, currently held by Don Swanstrom .
  3. Town Clerk for a two-year term, currently held by Lita Wallace, who was appointed when April Smitke resigned in March 2015.

If you wish to file for any of these positions, filing must be done between December 29, 2015 and January 12, 2016 by filling an Affidavit of Candidacy and submit to Town Clerk along with a two dollar ($2.00) filing fee.

MARCH 8, 2016: ELECTION AND ANNUAL MEETING AT PEQUAYWAN FIRE DEPARTMENT
In the March 2016 election, the Town of Pequaywan will be voting on two Town Supervisor positions and the Town Clerk position. The vacant positions are as follows:

  1. Town Supervisor for a three-year term, currently held by Scott Mead.
  2. Town Supervisor for a one-year term to complete the unexpired term vacated by Rick Fry’s resignation, currently held by Don .
  3. Town Clerk for a two-year term, currently held by Lita Wallace, who was appointed when April Smitke resigned in March 2015.

If you wish to file for any of these positions, filing must be done during the above dates by filling an Affidavit of Candidacy form and submit to Town Clerk Lita Wallace along with a two dollar ($2.00) filing fee. The form is available on the Pequaywan Township webpage, pequaywantownship.org. Candidate filing closes at 5:00 p.m. on January 12, 2016. The Town Clerk’s office will be open for filing from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
