Meeting was called to order by Charles Kuettel at 7:12 pm.

Clerk’s Report
November 1, 2022 Minutes for approval. A guest’s name was corrected as well as a correction on future meeting date. A motion to accept the November 1, 2022 minutes was provided by Swanstrom. The motion was seconded by Kuettel. The motion carried 2-0-1

Old Business

  • Update on West Branch Rd: The application submitted to St Louis County for snowplowing was accepted and approved.
  • Upcoming Meetings: Board of Audit Meeting at the Pequaywan Fire Hall is February 21, 2023 at 7 pm. This meeting will be followed by the Budget meeting at 7:45pm. The Annual Township Meeting at the Pequaywan Fire Hall is March 14, 2023 at 8:30 pm. This meeting will be followed by the Township Board Meeting at 9 pm. The Board of Canvass meeting will be March 14, 2023 at 9:15 pm.
  • Upcoming township election and annual board meeting. Filings for candidacy notices have been posted. The Annual Board meeting will be at 8:30 pm on March 14, 2023
  • Website review: Clerk and Daisy Wallace will continue to work on updating the website with resolutions

New Business

  • Gregory Planting request to vacate a portion of the River Road near the West Branch Road. Currently, the Township does not have an opinion, but it is subject to change
  • Notice of Hearing by K&K LLC to vacate a portion of Pequaywan Drive near Cummings Beach. The hearing is to take place at the St Louis County Courthouse on January 19, 2023 at 9 am.
  • Consent form from Frontier Communications. Motion to approve the consent form was provided by Swanstrom. The motion was seconded by Kuettel. The motion carried 2-0-1
  • Resolution designating Pequaywan Fire Hall as the election polling place was created. Resolution # 2022-001. Resolution passed 2-0-1

Safety concern about a portion of Pequaywan Lake Road was emailed into the township. Kuettel will talk to the resident of portion of the road in the spring
